No, I don't think he would either.

I've briefly lost track of him a few times, when doorways have led where they weren't supposed to, but I've always found him again within an hour or so once he makes it back into the city proper. So long as you're not stubborn, those rooms don't keep you for very long.

He vanished on the 9th, and there hasn't been a trace of him since anywhere in the city, forest, or coast. Even in the area I lost track of him, there weren't any out of place doorways that I could find.

[And Idia is absolutely right, there are no signs that Jade went back to Twisted Wonderland. But his magic isn't limited to living creatures--even if Jade had died, he should still be able to track the location of the merman's corpse, shouldn't he?

He doesn't like any of the possibilities this implies: either Jade is trapped somewhere beyond this world they can't easily find or follow, something dangerously cunning and malicious is actively interfering with or purging his magic somehow, even though its so weak and subtle even Ortho's sensors had dismissed it as a mere good luck charm, or..... there may quite simply be nothing left of Jade to track. If the merman's body was utterly obliterated somehow, then it would make perfect sense if his unique magic had failed all at once with no warning.]
