im trying to help my friend!! she said shes cursed but i rly didn't see anything on her

but without jamils help i definitely wouldve failed that lesson.... so im not the best person to ask!!

But are you sure it wasn't simply a turn of phrase? Some people claim they must be cursed if they simply have a run of bad luck.

I can say even without looking at her that such a curse would have to be incredibly complex and powerful, if it actually exists. It would likely be the work of a mage far greater than any of us here, so it would likely be equally difficult to break.

While curses are an extraordinarily versatile form of magic, they still need to be able to directly influence their target. To put it simply: I'm not sure that your friend could be the source of these accidents, unless she was present for all of them. How else would the magic be able to reach people to hurt them?

That's right! I suppose it might be theoretically possible to create a sort of contagious curse that could spread to other people like a disease? But I can scarcely even imagine all the work that would go into making such a thing possible. I wouldn't even know where to start.
