[ Jamil’s so upset, and Kalim’s heart is shattering, all the same. He wishes it wasn’t like this, that things were different.

But when the world seems to warp and shift around them, he notices. He looks around in confusion— when Jamil’s words hit like a snap. ]

A nightmare…

[ how did this happen in the first place? He doesn’t remember, he doesn’t even remember how he got that far. It was just obvious to him—
